Yes, we conducted an on-site evaluation on November 13, 2018, and installed their pool fence on March 7, 2019.
Since Granada Hills is located within Los Angeles, they must adhere to Los Angeles pool fence requirements. This states that pool must be enclosed by a fence that is a minimum of 5 feet in height and the maximum vertical clearance from the ground to the bottom of the fence must be no greater than two inches. The pool fence must be free of protrusions, cavities, or other physical characteristics that can serve as handholds or footholds. Additionally, the gap in the fence must not allow the passage of a sphere equal to or greater than 4 inches in diameter.
What Was the Scope of Work?
For this job, the homeowners had a pool fence installed years ago, but it was falling apart. Larry and his wife are an elderly couple in their mid-80s and had us install a pool fence to keep their little dogs from falling into the pool. They choose to install a 4’ tall all brown pool corral fence, and since they have no small children in their home, they opted to have a manual gate installed rather than a self-closing, self-latching pool gate.

No, since there had been a pool fence installed previously by another pool fence company, it was a fairly simple job to pull up the old fence and install a new one.
