These regulations state that privately owned pools must be enclosed by a fence that is a minimum of 5 feet in height and the maximum vertical clearance from the ground to the bottom of the fence must be no greater than two inches.
The pool fence must be free of protrusions, cavities, or other physical characteristics that can serve as handholds or footholds. Additionally, the gap in the fence must not allow the passage of a sphere equal to or greater than 4 inches in diameter.

The pool required the installers to work around 15 steps and 20 feet of slope. This meant that every panel had to be custom made on site to ensure it fit perfectly. The fence also had to be built on a slope so custom pieces were built in place using 4 foot mesh and 5 foot poles.
