When you call us for a free estimate, we will schedule a visit to your home to measure your pool and discuss your needs. However, if you are moving into a new home but don’t have the keys yet or in a hurry to install a pool safety fence, don’t worry, we can still provide you a FREE estimate. We utilize google earth which helps us provide a close estimate, however, we recommend scheduling for an in-person estimate. We only need 20-30 minutes of your time to discuss your needs, go over several layout options and suggest the best and safest layout option for your swimming pool. We will also show you product examples and explain why our fence is the strongest and safest pool fence available. And once we are approved, your pool safety fence will be installed within a week.
What To Expect On The Day Of Your Pool Safety Fence Installation
On the day of installation, our pool fence installers will arrive at the location and bring the materials and tools needed. Will ask you where exactly you want the gate and where the fence line will run. We start the layout from the gate and work out from there. Layout typically takes about 30-60 minutes.
After we are done with the layout, we will ask you to check the layout and give final approval. Once final approval is given we proceed to drill 1-1/8” holes in the concrete. We use a wet core drill with a diamond tip to insure we cut clean precise holes in the concrete. We typically drill through the concrete since most concrete is 3-4” thick but if it is thicker than that we don’t go deeper than 5”. As we are drilling, we will hose off the deck to insure a clean pool area. Once all the holes are drilled, we then put plastic sleeves in the holes and start working on erecting the fence.
There is almost always a custom section that needs to be made on the job site. Once all the custom sections are cut, bordered, and assembled we start latching the fence together. Once all the sections are latched together we assemble the self-closing, self-latching pool gate and the fence is complete.
After your swimming pool fence is installed, we will walk you through on how to operate your fence as well as how to adjust the gate in case it needs adjustment later down the line. We will show you how to operate the safety gate and how to make adjustments. Installing pool fences is almost always done in one day and most are done in 4-6 hours.
